Donough McDonough co-founded Boomerang Capital in 2001. Prior to Boomerang Capital Mr. McDonough spent 17 years in the convertible bond business. After graduate school, he began his career in convertible bond sales at Morgan Stanley from 1984-1994 where he was a managing director. From 1994-1996 he was a founding partner of Forum/Forest Management, a convertible arbitrage hedge fund. From 1996-1998, Mr. McDonough ran the convertible bond propriety business at Paine Webber. The last three years in the convertible bond business Mr. McDonough was a managing director leading the global convertible bond department at Lehman Brothers. Mr. McDonough is a 1981 BS graduate of the Villanova Business School and 1983 MBA graduate of the Stern School at NYU. He continues to be an active member of the Villanova family serving on the major gifts committee and on the business school advisory board as well as endowing the McDonough Family Faculty Award for research.

Charles F. Gulden, CFA
Chuck joined Boomerang Capital in April 2012. Prior to joining Boomerang, Chuck was a Partner/Member of TIG Advisors LLC where he oversaw capital raising efforts and investor relations. Additionally, he was a member of the Management Committee and the Risk Oversight Group. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Gulden was a Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management/Research with Hansberger Global Investors, where he was responsible for the management of over $750 million in client portfolios and management of HGI's European business. From 1989 to 1996, Mr. Gulden was with the Templeton organization, most recently as Vice President and Director in the research and portfolio management group. Previously, Mr. Gulden was Director of Institutional Client Services at Templeton and also had overall responsibility for investment management relationships with individuals and family groups. From 1986 to 1989, Mr. Gulden was an institutional consultant with the SEI Corporation, where he was responsible for consulting and financial service sales to banking institutions in the Northeast. From 1985 to 1986, Mr. Gulden was a sales representative with Key Financial systems, a financial accounting and portfolio management software firm. Mr. Gulden began his career in 1983 with Bankers Trust Company as a Trust Investment Administrator in the Private Client Group. Mr. Gulden received a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Economics and Political Science from Denison University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He also holds FINRA Series 24, 63, and 79 registrations. Mr. Gulden currently serves as a member of Board of Trustees of the Hotchkiss School and as President of The Hotchkiss Fund.
Christopher Lineberger joined Boomerang Capital, LLC in January 2015 as a Marketer and Due Diligence Analyst. Prior to joining Boomerang,, Chris worked for New York Life Insurance Company as a Corporate Vice President within the Advanced Markets Network group. Christopher was responsible for investment product management across 7 fixed income Bank-Owned Life Insurance (“BOLI”) portfolios (General Account and Separate Accounts) totaling roughly $16 billion, 99 registered mutual funds with $2.1 billion in Corporate-Owned Life Insurance (“COLI”) assets and roughly $400 million in Private Placement Life Insurance (“PPLI”) investments spanning 25 Hedge Fund of Funds. Before joining New York Life, Chris was a Product Specialist at Crèdit Agricole Structured Asset Management/AMUNDI, marketing the firm’s $5 Billion multi-asset class BOLI investment division to prospective separate account investors. Chris was also a Vice President at JPMorgan Securities Inc. on the Stable Value Products desk. Chris’s primary responsibilities were writing out-of-the-money put options on fixed income portfolios (and Insurance Dedicated Hedge Fund of Funds) within insurance company BOLI Separate Accounts as well as to Stable Value Fixed Income Funds in Defined Contribution 401(k) Plans. Chris started his career in 1992 at Wertheim Schroder & Co., Inc. in high yield fixed income sales. Chris has a B.A. from Denison University.
Maureen joined Boomerang as Chief Compliance Officer in 2014. She is also principal of Dynamo Consulting, a regulatory compliance consultant. Maureen holds Series 24, 87, 65, 7, 79, 63, and 99 securities registrations. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS).
Michael Manning is President and founder of Stratton Capital Management, a New York based independent financial firm that specializes in alternative investments. Owner operated and independent, his mission is to introduce alternative investment manager clients to institutional investors in EMEA, Asia & North America. Mr. Manning is a affiliated with Boomerang Capital LLC, a registered broker dealer and member of FINRA & SIPC. Since 1999, he has raised significant capital across most strategies including L/S equity, event driven, relative value, global macro & CTA.
Since 1985, he has successfully founded, managed and consulted to alternative investment companies with a focus on sales & marketing solutions. Mr. Manning is an organizer, speaker & sponsor of industry conferences and institutional investor forums globally. He is also a regular contributor to and mentor for education initiatives in alternative investing.
Previously, Mr. Manning was a marketing executive and later a Board Director with FX Concepts, a leading currency hedge fund (‘85-’97). Before this, he was Head of the Forex Advisory Service at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. (now J.P. Morgan & Co.). From ‘76 to ‘83 he held managerial positions in international finance/treasury with the Continental Group, GAF Corporation, & Bank of America.
Mr. Manning holds an MBA degree in International Finance ('75) and an MA degree in International Relations ('75) from the University of Chicago. Since 1998, he has been member of the International Advisory Board of Oakbridge Ltd, a forex educational company in Sydney. In 1990, he became an early member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), where he served as Chairman of the Marketing Committee and Hedge Fund Editor of the AIMA Journal. He was also instrumental in the early launch of educational groups in alternative investing in East Asia during the 1990’s.
